Buyer beware! My experience with Nick Davis and Michelle from EPIC contractors was nothing short of disastrous. They began a remodel project on my cabin in mid-November of 2017. The project was to be completed in 6 weeks. The very first week they removed the exterior fieldstone in ERROR and were not even apologetic. There were multiple mistakes with ordering wrong window sizes, not matching existing interior doors, and constant excuses. They took my money yet didn’t even order and stain my exterior cedar siding as promised. They continued to ensure me both on email and saved voicemails that those materials were being stored in Wausau, but that was never the case. The money was spent elsewhere – and not on my materials. The electrician was not paid and walked off the job in January. Finally, in May 2018, which was over 4-months past the promised project completion date, I had to pull the plug because of complete lack of confidence and unresolved damages. I don’t like to speak poorly about people, but I have never come across an individual or business with such poor integrity. I don’t want anyone else to experience what I have this past year. **Update** It is now August. Nick came out to look at the issues I had May 3 and I was told they would be out to fix the problems and install a back splash at the companies expense. During that visit Nick asked me to remove my negative reviews as it is not good for business. In 3 months I have not had any e-mails, texts, or phone calls returned. My husband called from his phone last week and Nick answered right away- my husband was told the company was no longer in business, and that contact was not made with me because I refused to take down my negative reviews. Work is still unfinished as I'm sure it will stay that way.
I had my kitchen redone in October/November. Finishing work was not completed and I had issues with some of the work that was done (ice coming in through a new outlet, countertops not cut, trim not placed, bottom wood pieces to cabinets not glued down, holes next to an outlet that needed to be patched are a few examples) and I have been trying to have a staff member come out for a month. First i messaged the employee that did the work and was unsuccessful so I approached Mary in the office. She was easy to work with apologized for the issues and I was told that both the employee and Nick would come out together so my issues were addressed. The first time they were suppose to come out it was cancelled 45 minutes before the appointed time. The next time someone was suppose to come out the owner did not come out and the employee asked what my concerns were he left and said we would need to set up another time on my day off for him to come out. Now after the 3rd attempt I got a text 45 minutes before the appointment time to say he would not make it, but maybe after lunch. During the major part of the project I didn't have issues, however trying to get the finishing touches completed on a project that ended the week of Thanksgiving has been a nightmare, would not use them again.

This is the second time I've worked with Epic. I needed another roof done quickly to close another rehab. Nick and Michelle got their crews out there right away with an estimate. They knew I was in a rush and gave me a really fair price considering the weather and time frame to get it done. Saved me again! Easy to work with, professional and my roof was great. Thanks again.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with our experience with EPIC contractors with our recently installed new roof. A couple weeks ago we woke to the horror of a leak in our kitchen ceiling. I approached other contractors (as they came up first in my search) and got no reply to my internet or phone contact. Nick from EPIC responded VERY quickly to my initial internet inquiry and an inspection of our roof was done within a day.
When more heavy rains worsened our leak a few days later, guys from EPIC came out right away and put a tarp on our roof which prevented further leaking.
Our estimate we received included options between a localized repair job where the leak was likely occurring and a whole new roof (which is what we chose)
The roof job was done quickly, and with extremely minimal intrusiveness to our daily routine and appears to be very well done. I believe the price was very fair and Nick was great about payment.
Very happy customers and will hire again!

I had a small garage roof that needed a tear off and replace about a month ago. 5 square +/-. Started talking with Nick and got a competitive quote. I did compare it to other quotes. Nick and his crew came within a few days as promised and had the job done in a no time. Quality materials/ quality work. They cleaned the area well, hauled everything away. No Complaints.
